Tempel Lipizzans is home to the largest privately-owned herd of Lipizzan stallions in the world. Saved during World War II by General George Patton, these stallions are internationally-renowned, having performed their horse ballet in several presidential inaugurations, celebrations for kings and queens, and countless visitors to Lake County.

A few words say it all.. Power, Gold, Mystery, Exotic and Impressive. It is one of the most awesome works of art ever created. The Gold Pyramid House is a 17,000 square foot, six story house built of gold panels and painted gold. Our group will tour the first two stories of the Onan family’s home, where we will see one of a kind artifacts, including dining room chairs from the Cecil B DeMille movie, “The Ten Commandments, “ a scale replica of King Tut’s tomb, and other Egyptian artifacts.

Lunch at the Gold Pyramid will be catered by “ The Shanty” featured on the Food Network’s TV show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives”. Owner Dimitri Kallanis and his team will offer a gourmet meal-fit for a king!
